Set on the Lump, a headland above Portree harbour, Skye Live pairs Scottish folk with electronica under the tagline music sounds better with a view. The 2026 edition opened with Dougie MacLean and Beluga Lagoon, then ran two days of trad heavyweights like Manran, RURA and Breabach alongside Glasgow DJs including Domenic Cappello. Fringe events in town, from a Niteworks film to Ceilidh Tots sessions, round out the weekend.
Skye Live returns in 2026, running 7-9 May at Am Meall (The Lump), Portree. It is set up to work for families, so all ages are welcome.
